Gol-e Shab Pendant | 18ct White Gold, Sapphire & Diamonds
Gol-e Shab Pendant | 18ct White Gold, Sapphire & Diamonds
I designed the Gol-e Shab Pendant to capture the moment when moonlight illuminates the paradise garden, transforming geometric precision into organic beauty. In Persian poetry, the night flower represents mysteries unveiled only after sunset, and this pendant is my tribute to that enchanting imagery.
The design draws from the layered geometric patterns of Isfahan's Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, where light filtering through pierced stone creates shifting floral shadows throughout the day. The central blue sapphire represents the night sky reflected in the garden's central fountain, surrounded by diamond petals that catch and scatter light like dewdrops at dawn.
Each layer is independently crafted and assembled by hand, creating architectural depth that changes as you move. This is wearable geometry, Persian mathematical beauty translated into sculptural form.

Cultural Heritage
The Golestan collection celebrates the Chahar Bagh, the four-part paradise garden central to Persian culture for over two millennia. Whilst day-blooming roses dominate Persian poetry, the night jasmine holds equal reverence, representing hidden beauty and contemplative wisdom.
