Gol-e Behesht Pendant | 18ct White Gold, Sapphire & Diamonds
Gol-e Behesht Pendant | 18ct White Gold, Sapphire & Diamonds
I created the Gol-e Behesht Pendant to translate the botanical beauty of the Golestan (Garden of Roses) into wearable architecture. Eight flowing petals spiral around a vivid cornflower blue sapphire, forming a bloom frozen in perfect geometry. Each petal is individually sculpted and set with channels of pav diamonds that catch light like morning dew on paradise flowers.
The eight-petal design references the octagonal garden pavilions (hasht behesht) found in Persian Chahar Bagh layouts, where mathematics meets organic beauty. The sapphire's vivid blue echoes both the Persian sky and the turquoise-tiled domes of Isfahan's mosques, whilst the white gold's cool brilliance offers a contemporary interpretation of traditional Persian goldwork.
