I created this pendant to showcase the mesmerising colour of Persian turquoise in its purest form. A single polished cabochon of Neyshabur turquoise sits within a hand-finished 18ct gold setting, suspended from a fine gold chain.
The Design
The setting draws from traditional Persian goldsmithing, where the stone is always the protagonist. The bezel cradles the turquoise with quiet elegance, allowing the natural matrix and colour variations of each stone to tell its own story. No two pendants are identical, as each turquoise cabochon carries unique patterns formed over millennia in the mountains of Khorasan.
