I designed these stud earrings as the perfect introduction to Persian turquoise. Each earring features a cabochon of Neyshabur turquoise, the finest turquoise in the world, set in a delicate bezel of 18ct yellow gold.
The Stone
Firouzeh (���O���^���?) is the Persian word for turquoise, and Persia has been the source of the world's most prized turquoise for over two thousand years. The mines of Neyshabur in Khorasan province have produced stones of extraordinary sky-blue colour since the time of the ancient Silk Road. These earrings celebrate that heritage, bringing a fragment of Persian history to your everyday.
