I designed this stacking ring to bring the ancient beauty of Persian turquoise into modern, everyday wear. A slender band of 18ct yellow gold holds a single cabochon of Neyshabur turquoise, perfectly proportioned to sit comfortably alongside other rings or to stand beautifully on its own.
The Design
The slim profile references the delicate gold rings found in Persian archaeological sites dating back to the Achaemenid Empire. Turquoise was among the first gemstones to be mined in human history, and the Persians believed it brought good fortune and protection. This ring carries that tradition forward in a contemporary silhouette.
