Shokufeh Blossom Ring
Every spring, the almond is the first to flower across Persia. Its blossom, شکوفه (shokufeh), is the sign that the garden has woken for Nowruz. I have set that first bloom in 18ct white gold: five petals paved with brilliant-cut white diamonds, gathered around a bezel-set diamond at the heart, with two leaves of green tsavorite just unfurling at the side.
It belongs to Bahar, my spring collection, where the brilliance of fine diamond work meets the Persian garden. Architectural in structure, soft in feeling, made to be worn every day and to mark the turning of the year. Designed in London and crafted in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
Materials: 18ct white gold; white diamonds (pavé petals and a bezel-set centre stone); tsavorite garnet leaf accents. UK hallmarked.
Made to order: 8 to 10 weeks.
