Laleh Solitaire

Sale price £2,800.00

The Laleh Solitaire takes its name from the Persian tulip, laleh, the symbol of perfect love in Persian poetry since the age of Hafez. An oval Ceylon sapphire sits at the centre, held within a hand-formed 18ct yellow gold bezel whose outer edge is carved with a Chahar Bagh geometry: the four-fold symmetry found in the great garden courts of Isfahan and Shiraz.

The shoulders taper to a slim double band set with white diamond micro-pave, designed to complement any wedding band without competing for attention. The inner surface carries a hand-engraved tulip border, a detail visible only to the wearer. Persian jewellery has always carried its most intimate meaning on the inside.

Made to order at our Birmingham Jewellery Quarter studio. Each sapphire is individually selected for depth of colour; expected lead time is four to six weeks. Commission yours and we will arrange a private consultation at the studio.
