In Persian poetry, the rose stands for divine beauty and earthly love. The Gol-e Sorkh ring takes the rose from literature into sculptural form: an oval ruby the colour of Iranian pomegranate seeds, set in a molten-textured 18ct yellow gold surround that mirrors the petals of a fully opened bloom.
