Raqqaseh Persian Miniature Cocktail Ring
Raqqaseh Persian Miniature Cocktail Ring
A masterpiece of Persian artistry reimagined as haute joaillerie. This extraordinary cocktail ring features a hand-painted enamel miniature depicting a Qajar court dancer in a Persian garden, framed by a halo of brilliant-cut diamonds and set in an 18ct yellow gold mount with intricate arabesque filigree work.
The Miniature
Inspired by the Qajar-era miniature painting tradition, the oval enamel panel portrays a dancer raising a tambourine beneath cypress trees, surrounded by songbirds and flowering gardens - a scene from the Persian poetic imagination. Each miniature is hand-painted using the champleve enamel technique, requiring over 40 hours of artisan work.
The Setting
The oval bezel is bordered by a continuous row of brilliant-cut diamonds (approximately 0.60ct total weight, G-H colour, VS clarity). The gallery and shank feature openwork arabesque scrolls in 18ct yellow gold, with accent diamonds scattered throughout the filigree - a nod to traditional Persian metalwork.
