The Chahar is a full eternity band where vivid red rubies and brilliant white diamonds alternate in a repeating four-stone rhythm - a pattern drawn from the Chahar Bagh, the four-quadrant paradise garden at the heart of Persian landscape design. Each stone is individually grain-set in 18ct yellow gold, with fine milgrain borders marking the boundary of each four-stone group.
I wanted to create a wedding band that tells a story through its setting pattern. The four-beat grouping is not random - it references the four rivers, four seasons, and four elements of the Persian garden tradition. It is a ring that rewards close looking.
