Girih Cuff - Geometry Collection
Girih Cuff - Geometry Collection
Girih is the Persian word for 'knot' - and girih tiling is the geometric system used by medieval Persian architects to cover surfaces in infinite, interlocking star patterns. You can see it on the walls of the Friday Mosque in Isfahan, on the gates of the Gonbad-e Qabus tower, across centuries of Islamic architecture.
I wanted to hold that geometry in your hand.
This cuff translates a 12-point girih star lattice into openwork 18ct yellow gold. The pierced pattern catches light differently from every angle, and when worn, it casts its own geometric shadow on the skin. The solid polished borders frame the lattice like an architectural element - because that is exactly what it is.
One of a kind. Made to order in 18ct yellow gold. Width 30mm. Open cuff for adjustable fit.
Production takes approximately 10-12 weeks.
