I designed these ribbon drop earrings to bring fluid movement to Persian turquoise. Flowing ribbons of 18ct gold cascade downward, each one cradling a cabochon of Neyshabur turquoise. The effect is both architectural and organic, like silk scarves caught in a gentle breeze.

The Design

The ribbon motif references the flowing calligraphy of Persian manuscripts, where letters transform into decorative elements that dance across the page. Each gold ribbon is individually formed by hand, creating a sense of natural movement that contrasts beautifully with the still, deep colour of the turquoise stones. These earrings are for the woman who appreciates craftsmanship you can see.
