I designed the Gol-e Behesht Earrings to bring the eternal beauty of Shiraz's rose gardens to wearable form. Each earring features a blooming rose with individually formed petals that catch the light from every angle. A substantial 0.70ct blue sapphire at the centre represents the water source at the heart of traditional Persian Chahar Bagh gardens, whilst 24 brilliant-cut diamonds per earring trace the petal edges like morning dew catching sunlight.

The design references rose motifs found in Safavid miniature paintings, where flowers were not merely decorative but symbolic of divine beauty and earthly paradise. The sculptural depth creates a three-dimensional form that transforms as you move, just as Persian gardens reveal new perspectives from different vantage points.

Investment Quality

Two carefully matched round brilliant-cut sapphires totalling 1.4 carats provide the central focal point. These durable gemstones (Mohs 9 hardness) are suitable for daily wear whilst maintaining their brilliance for generations. Forty-eight precisely matched brilliant-cut diamonds are individually grain-set along the petal formations, creating continuous sparkle.
